alpineconcepts web design was formed in the summer of 2001. Based in Austria, alpineconcepts' goal is to provide multilingual and affordable web design for the local tourist and business community, as well as search engine consultancy and optimisation for web design firms in other countries.

Few web design companies have experience of both local and international markets. The founder of alpineconcepts web design - Steve Rout - was born in the UK but has spent much of his working life abroad. He brings experience of Switzerland, Germany, France and the USA to the last 11 years in Austria.

The speciality of hotel and tourism web design is backed up by extensive management experience in the English-speaking tourism industry and fluency in French and German.

Of course, it's no good having a well-designed web site if the content isn't up to scratch. Steve's earlier background as a journalist and news editor means that the copy is not only fluently translated, but is crafted to match the client's web marketing concept.
